The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure that she carries, or the way she combs her hair. The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mole, but true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows, and the beauty of a woman with passing years only grows!

My sister has a 17 1/2 year old daughter (my beautiful niece Josie) and I have an almost-14 year old son, Ryan. They both fit perfectly in their age category above!!

A Right Brain vs. Left Brain World

I watched the most incredible video today by a remarkable woman, who was featured on Oprah, and you can watch her story here. Jill Bolte Taylor got a research opportunity few brain scientists would wish for: She had a massive stroke, and watched as her brain functions — motion, speech, self-awareness –- shut down one by one. She talks about her stroke and recovery in a very moving way and makes a plea for the people of the world to start honoring their “right-brain” selves as a way to help bring about world peace.
